



As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Gerlach understands the importance of fostering excellent oral health from an early age. For Dr. Gerlach, the decision to become a dentist wasn’t difficult at all; the profession combines her love of science with her passion for helping others! The nature of her job also grants Dr. Gerlach the opportunity to work with a unique, and at times, demanding patient population. Needless to say, she tackles every opportunity head-on and doesn’t back down from a good challenge. If you ask her what her favorite part about her job is, she’ll be quick to answer: her awesome patients!
Dr. Gerlach completed her undergraduate degree at Juniata College in Huntington, PA before heading back home to Arizona to attend the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale. After earning her DMD, she returned to Pennsylvania to complete her pediatric dental residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, while also wrapping up a Master of Dental Science degree. After spending a couple of years as an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry, she found her way to Dallas and began transitioning into a private practice career. When she isn’t assisting patients with their smiles, you can find Dr. Gerlach out and about leading an active lifestyle. She enjoys working out, cycling, running, and doing Pilates—but she won’t think twice about trying an exciting new restaurant! She’s also a devoted Boston Red Sox fan and never misses tuning in for a game.
